Fellowship celebrates the diversity of men's hair with dedicated evening

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing recently hosted a men’s hair presentation, with some of the industry’s biggest names demonstrating their skills and creativity on male models.
Six top stylists from salons across the UK presented to the captivated audience. Gary Forde, of Gary Forde Hair, Brighton; Darren Ambrose of D&J Ambrose, Pinner; and Martin Fox of Scarlet Moon, Middlesbrough presented the first session, creating a diverse mix of men's hair looks, from multi-textured to smooth and tailored.
Next to share their individual takes on men’s hair were Marcus Giamattei of Marc Antoni; Ebru Alkaya of Alan d, London; and Darren Bain of Hob, London. Again the three stylists created distinctly different looks which showcase bother their talents and the growing diversity of men’s hairdressing.
The event concluded with an interview with HJ’s Men’s Hairdresser of the Year Kevin Luchmun, who spoke to HJ Men editor Matthew Batham about his career and his winning collection, using models to bring it to life for the audience.
