Fame team mentored by gianni scumaci

Gianni Scumaci was the latest hairdressing hero to share his expertise with the Fellowship for British Hairdressing's FAME Team. The morning commenced with a retrospective of Gianni's career. He explained how his Sassoon background had developed his technical ability, as well as the incredible collaborations that have made up his impressive portfolio since. Then it was time for a live demo, with Gianni showcasing some of his skills - including a model finished with a flurry of glitter that dazzled the four FAME Team members. In the afternoon, Gianni treated the team to a surprise visit to the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A. A fitting end to a fashionable day. Project Leader Antony Licata said: "The Team were spellbound as Gianni spoke about his career with honesty and humility." FAME Team member Amelia Evans added: "Wow what an inspiring individual Gianni is! We were all so impressed by his career timeline and what he has achieved. His presentation model was both inspiring and showed us to think outside the box technically and visually. It was an amazing surprise for him to take us to the Savage Beauty exhibition. A huge thank you to The Fellowship and Gianni for the opportunity."
