Erdem autumn/winter 2015: get the hair look

Anthony Turner and the Bumble and bumble team created backcombed ponytails inspired by faded Hitchcock heroines for the Erdem Autumn/Winter 2015 show. The show: Erdem Autumn/Winter 2015 The hair team: Anthony Turner for Bumble and bumble The look: A side-parted ponytail with volume around the crown The inspiration: A development of the slightly mad Erdem woman we've come to know over the last few seasons. She's a twisted Hitchcock heroine with faded Grey Gardens grandeur - the hair was once elegant but has been slept on all night after one too many. The key product: Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion (coming to the UK in May) Get the Look 1. Prep hair with Bumble and bumble Thickening Spray, working through in sections. 2. Use Bumble and bumble Surf Infusion on the crown to add volume and height. 3. Blow-dry the hair straight using a round bristle brush. 4. Style hair in a low side parting, styled with your fingers rather than a brush. Pull hair from the parting across the forehead and pin in place with a grip in a contrasting colour - it should look intentional. 5. Tease hair at the roots to create some volume for a slight 60s feel. 6. Pull into a low ponytail at the nape. [Image: Anthony Turner]
