Mark Woolley and the Electric Art Team recently brought a spark of Brit creativity to Ghent in Belgium as they presented Back Stage; an up-close-and-personal look at their latest hair collection.
Day one saw creative director Mark and his team prep ten models - seven girls and three guys - ahead of the evening show. More than 200 Belgian hair industry professsionals attended the show, including local distributors as well as hairdressers.
The next day saw the team host an intimate seminar in a local photographic studio, which gave guests the chance to see the techniques used for the collection in close up.
Key trends including cutting
broken weight-line bobs,
long bobs and the fundamentals of cutting
the perfect crop were showcased in detail before students then took to blockheads to practice.
Electric encompasses six salons across the UK, a professionalproduct range, the Electric Studio and the Electric Education Academy, which hosts monthly team seminars and regular educational workshops.
