Efi davies explains how to get the spijkers en spijkers look

The Spijkers en Spijkers is always guaranteed to be a great show, and the Spring/Summer 2011 collection didn't disappoint. An uber-feminine collection of playsuits, girly dresses and tailored pieces with intricate detailing and quirky use of lace, flora's and diamante buttons, was complemented by soft waves created by Efi Davies and the Toni & Guy team. "We wanted to create a modern take on a 40s Veronica Lake wave - a distressed and dry texture for a loose and youthful feel," she says. Here's how to get the look:

 

1 Prep hair with label.m Volume Mousse and blow-dry smooth

2 Place a low 40's side parting and Marcel wave the hair vertically with fingers and clip to set

3 Once set brush through using label.m Dry Shampoo and distress the texture and finish with label.m Hairspray
