Toni & guy describe how to get the william tempest look
With a romantic twist, William Tempest's Spring/Summer 2011 collection Siren Song was inspired by Pre-Raphaelite paintings and a mythical half beauty, half sea creature who seduced passing sailors. Tim Furssedonn led the Toni & Guy team and explains: "Hair was worked to create a beachy/dusty texture reminiscent of sea-drenched hair. Reflective of the high-fashion, couture edge to the collection, a re-design of the classic pleat gave a fresh lived-in and youthful edge." here he explains how to get the look:
1 Prep hair with label.m Volume Mousse and label.m Sea Salt Spray before blast-drying the hair section by section to create a dusty texture within the hair
2 The hair is sectioned off creating a diamond section at the crown and is backcombed and rolled down into a ball and pinned visually
3 Taking small sections from alternative sides of the head, hair is wrapped across the bun to create a basket weave effect
4 Finally label.m Resurrection Style Dust is applied to the front section of the hair and is gently scooped back with hands towards the crown and loosely pinned to the back of the head
5 A lightness of label.m Hairspray finishes the look.
