Roku Salon and Head Spa celebrated its seven-year anniversary with an immersive client experience
This event included a reflexology session and ran in conjunction with Authentic Beauty Concept, seamlessly blending their brand philosophies to emphasise the importance of health and wellness.
Clients were invited to attend and see Roku’s newly refurbished salon, which now includes a luxurious treatment space for their Japanese-inspired Head Spa. On arrival, they were greeted with drinks and nibbles, including a cake to celebrate the salon’s 7th birthday. The snacks served were themed around ingredients found in Authentic Beauty Concept products.
Salon founder Robbie Bruce said a few words to thank those who attended and shared Roku’s vision to make hair and scalp health their core focus, with the understanding that beautiful hair starts at the roots.

Following the drinks reception, Sara Davis, Brand Experience & Education Expert at Authentic Beauty Concept, gave an interactive presentation on health and wellbeing. Sara explored the benefits behind certain ingredients, before inviting the audience to enjoy the fragrance of the products; this tied in well with Roku’s brand, since they share the same ethos to focus on using products that are simple, true and good for you.
There was then a reflexology session, where Millie Hall from Body and Soul Therapy shared some hand reflexology techniques that can be implemented for relaxation. She used some Authentic Beauty Concept products to aid this process, guiding the audience with instructions on how to do this on their own hands.
Founder Robbie was delighted with the event, stating: “It was lovely to showcase our refurbished salon to visitors, and give them an opportunity to educate themselves on the importance of hair and scalp health. They were also able to learn about different products and understand the best ones that would work for their hair type and needs.”
