Easydry partner with west college scotland for commonwealth salon Easydry Partner with West College Scotland for Commonwealth Salon Easydry proved a winner at this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow when they teamed up with West College Scotland for their summer pop-up salon. More than 3,000 athletes passed through the college over the course of the games, with 100 hair and beauty students on hand to provide hairstyling, all-important patriotic nail art and relaxing massage treatments for post-competition. A further 20 students also manned another pop-up in Glasgow's Kelvin Hall, prepping the medal bearers who attended each winning ceremony. Easydry towels were used in both salons, with the small towel used for manicures and the bed roll and bath towels used in the beauty section, just like the students do every day back at college. Wendy Sheridan-Price, WSC lecturer and organiser of the pop-up, commented: "There was an entire village square with amenities for the athletes and, right in the centre, was our completely sustainable salon, offering the same impeccable standards you would find at any top salon anywhere in the world," "At such a busy temporary salon, washing towels would have been a nightmare, but, of course, we have Easydry, so hygiene, comfort and convenience were guaranteed."
