Duchess of cambridge wins wedding hair poll

The Duchess of Cambridge has been named as the celebrity with the best wedding hair, according to a new poll. Gift-list website Wrappler.com asked respondents to choose which celebrity bride they thought had the best barnet on their big day. Kate’s elegant demi-chignon by Richard Ward and James Pryce proved popular as she received over a quarter of the vote - 26%. In second place came newly wed Fearne Cotton who sported carefree waves with an embroidered hairband to fit her boho style, with 21% agreeing this was the best wedding look. Reality TV queen Kim Kardashian got 16% of the vote for her luscious locks, which she kept loose during her nuptials to Kanye West. WAG and mother-of-two Coleen Rooney snapped up the fourth place position with 11% of votes for the ballerina-style bun she had for her big day. TV presenter and socialite Tamara Ecclestone received praise from respondents for her centre parting and volumised wedding waves with nine per cent of votes putting her in fifth place. Sixth position went to British actress Keira Knightley who got six percent of the vote for her short brunette locks and floral wreath accessory at her wedding in France. In joint seventh place was The Saturdays’ singer Rochelle Humes and MIC star Millie Mackintosh who both received four per cent of votes for their wedding hairstyles. The Big Bang Theory star Kayley Cuoco who wed earlier this year was eighth receiving two per cent of the vote, and in last place was pop singer Cher Lloyd with one percent. A spokesperson for Wrappler.com said: "All of these celebrity brides had such elegant hairstyles at their weddings and truly deserve to make the list. Some brides overcomplicate hairstyles on their wedding day but simplicity is definitely best. "It doesn’t surprise me that Kate Middleton got first place, her hair looked fabulous and she got it just right because no attention was drawn away from her dress." 1. Kate Middleton - 26% 2.
