Despite tipping not being as much of a part of the British culture as compared to other countries, choosing to tip is still something that is often done after receiving good service.
A recent survey conducted by
OnBuy.com quizzed 2,000 participants about their tipping habits and the results showcased a dramatic difference in industries.
88% of those asked said they'd tip a waiter or waitress while 22% of people said they'd tip a shopping delivery driver.
Hairdressers and salon workers sat on the higher end of the scale with 73% of people saying that they tip them. However, research from the
NHF tells a different tale - 47% of their members have experienced a drop in the number of tips left by clients.
