Do it for alex campaign gets boost with blow-dry boot camp

Guy Kremer has given a local cause - the Do It For Alex Campaign - a boost, by hosting a blow-dry boot camp at his salon.
"Love your hair and show you care" was Guy's message to the people of Hampshire, as he fundraised to help a local young father who has lost three limbs and his lips after a common cold left him fighting for survival when a blood infection caused his organs to fail.
For a £20 donation, locals were invited to enjoy a blow-dry masterclass under the expert tuition of Guy - with a goodie bag of products to ensure they could recreate the look at home.
In addition to the local community, celebrities including TV chef James Martin (above), also dropped in to show their support for the charity. Nearby Hotel Du Vin provided cocktails, and a nearby florist also donated bouquets to dress the salon.
Alex's partner, Lucy Townsend, said: "We can’t be thankful enough for all the amazing and generous donations we have received from all of the people of Winchester and Guy's clients, friends and colleagues.
