Dita von teese goes retro fabulous for coachella festival

There aren't many stars who are as dedicated to their look as Dita von Teese, so it was no surprise to see the burlesque beauty decked out in suitably vintage-styled outfits at Coachella festival this weekend.

Despite taking place in the middle of a Californian desert, celebrities including Dita are treated to a swanky VIP area, meaning couture gowns, regular outfit changes and pristine hair and and makeup aren't out of the question.

Dita was spotted with a neat low bun dressed with a crystal-studded hair net and topped off with a quirky sailor hat. The nautical look was continued with a Christian Dior rope-tie dress in citric orange Hawaiian print, for a slightly South Pacific feel. 

Dita's other festival looks were equally fun and maintained the vintage-loving star's immaculate retro style.

Although we usually see Dita in 40s and 50s styles, she was also spotted in a psychedelic print Moschino dress with her hair in a large beehive for a look that owed more to the swinging sixties.

The nautical look was brought back on the third day of the festival, with Dita in a Moschino outfit. Dita's hair was piled up in a perfectly round topknot - a look favoured by many festival goers after three days without a shower, but perhaps more a style statement for a VIP like Dita!
