If you're looking for a rockin' party style for your clients, take a look at this hair by Emma Bedwell.
Once an 80s fixture, today crimping is back -
no, really. We saw it on
the catwalks at Stella McCartney courtesy of Eugene Souleiman and
Bella Thorne made it fresh for a new generation.
Ideal for giving serious volume to fine hair, this look oozes rockin' glamour. Here, Emma from Hoop Haircutters tells us how she created the stunning look above.
Step one
Work a flexible mousse like Clynol Move into dry hair and blow-dry in to add more density.
Step two
Use micro crimpers (we used Coroliss) on small sections of hair to create volume and texture. Start at the nape of the neck and work up the head.
Step three
Once at the crown, back brush the root, then crimp over to give height and hold. Continue this for the rest of the head, working the hair back from the face.
Step four
Once all the hair is crimped and has cooled, lightly brush through with a Tangle Teezer to soften the look.
Step five
Finish with Clynol Uphold hairspray.
