Creative shows to inspire at salon international 2013

Salon International isn’t only about test driving the latest products and professional equipment, it’s also a one-stop destination for creative inspiration. The Hair Show offers those browsing the stands numerous stages featuring live demonstrations of the latest techniques, and the chance to get up close and personal with some of the biggest names in hairdressing, both from Britain and abroad. One of the creative hubs of the Hair Show is the HJ Stage, which this year will once again offer a line-up of industry icons, plus up-and-coming talent set to take the world of hairdressing by storm - see the full line-up for all three days here. After an enthusiastic reception in 2012, the stage will once again play host to HJ Men Live, with two hours every day dedicated to men’s hairdressing - see who's set to appear here. You can also see some of the nation’s most inspirational hairdressers at the Fellowship stage which has a packed schedule of show-stopping talent. For the ultimate hairdressing spectacle, you can also buy tickets for one of the Salon Live shows. Sharing their creative brilliance this year are Sassoon Academy, who promise to both ‘inspire and provoke’; Patrick Cameron who will offer his take on the latest glamorous long-hair looks in his usual entertaining fashion; and Toni & Guy, who are set to share some of the iconic looks from the brand’s 50 year history. Also taking to the Salon Live stage will be this year’s TIGI Inspirational Youth team, sharing the knowledge and skills gained during the five-month mentoring programme. There’s plenty of creative inspiration to be found in the more intimate settings of the Salon Seminars, with Mahogany and Saco both back to offer their takes on the latest cutting and colouring techniques.
