Clubstar members wowed by the hob team
ClubStar, the NEW youth membership scheme from the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, held its first evening of education and inspiration at the hob Camden Academy.
It was a night when the young talent of the hob young creative team shared their inspiration and techniques with Clubstar members, who are all young hairdressers and hairdressing students between 17 and 22 years of age.
Men's Hairdresser of the Year Jamie Stevens hosted the event while Sean Dawson, manager of hob Camden, acted as a compere and quizzed the creative team about the 80s-inspired models they had presented.
The evening also showcased current work from HJ's 2008 British Hairdressing Awards Artistic Team of the Year members Claire Dawson, Sean Dawson, Darren Bain and British Colour Technician of the Year Christel Lundqvist, who answers questions from the audience about their models, winning awards and their careers.
The Clubstar members gleaned a wealth of knowledge and were inspired with 12 outstanding looks that took in cut, colour, hair-up and dressing.
"hob did an outstanding job and our ClubStar members were blown away. This is the first of a programme of events we plan to offer to our new membership and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive," reflected ClubStar Ambassador Jamie Stevens.
