A new initiative created by the young for the young called Clubstar has been launched by the Fellowship for British Hairdressers and will provide a place where young minds and creative talent can meet, share ideas and develop.

Industry expert Nigel Sillis is managing the project implementation and says "Clubstar has formed out of an expressed need to provide a membership based facility that will appeal to the youth market.

"It will give voice to younger talent and provide a platform to help them grow."

Membership is valid for 5 years from the date of registration and trainees and professionals can join from the age of 18 years up to the day before their 23rd birthday.

Clubstar members will get the opportunity to be invited to events, seminars and given education opportunities. They will also receive discounts and freebies from the industry as well as enjoying peer group support from other members.
