Clubstar art team 2016 announced at judging

The ClubStar Art Team 2016 auditions have taken place, with six talented young stylists now taking on the title for the coming twelve months.
Entrants initially submitted a CV outlining what they would bring to the team, which was supported by an image of their work. The wannabe team were also tasked with submitting an Instagram video stating why they felt they should be considered.
On the judging day, ClubStar art team project leader Joey Ferraro and ClubStar North project leader Michelle Griffin were joined by Kai Wan from P Kai Hair; past F.A.M.E. Team members Isabella Hyde and Ellenora Dean as well as Gareth Williams from Headmasters who all made up the judging panel.
Applicants were given three minutes to present and explain a cut, colour and styling finish to a panel of judges using both a model and research mood board.
Looking back on the interview process, Joey Ferraro commented: "This year’s calibre was really high and we were really impressed with the enthusiasm and skills demonstrated by all the applicants. The ClubStar Art Team is such a great opportunity and it is fantastic to see such commitment from young hairdressers. I am really looking forward to working with the team next year as project leader."
The ClubStar Art Team will now embark on a year of fantastic mentoring days with top name industry experts, while also developing their skills on stage at trade shows and producing a photographic collection.
