Cloud nine presents at cosmoprof

Cloud Nine celebrated its launch in the US with a dynamic show at the North American Hairstyling Awards at Cosmoprof in Las Vegas, demonstrating the versatility of its products with a series of inspiring looks.

Founder Robert Powls was also on hand to announce the winners of the Newcomer Stylist of the Year and Student Hairstylist of the Year categories at the glittering award ceremony.

The Cloud Nine catwalk show saw models representing three distinctive characters whose styles can be created with TheO - a volumised blonde mid-length style, brunette waves and a sleek bob.

They were then joined by a further trio of models whose hair had been transformed into candy-floss corkscrews, a Hollywood-worthy red carpet look and retro-inspired tumbling curls.

Robert said: "I was extremely honoured to be asked to present the Newcomer and Student Hairstylist categories at the North American Hairstyling Awards, celebrating the rising talent in the industry. The entries were beautifully done and incredibly innovative. It was a great way to mark Cloud Nine's launch in the US and we were proud to be part of an event that recognises the cream of North American hairdressing talent."
