Cheryl's 'do named most popular celebrity hairstyle of 2014

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's dark 'do has been named the most popular celebrity hairstyle of 2014, according to a new poll. Industry experts at online hair and beauty retailer Hairtrade.com, asked respondents to pick which celebrity’s hairstyle they would ask for at the salon. The X Factor judge took almost a quarter of the votes, with 24% saying they’d love to have Cheryl’s large loose waves. Coming in a close second was Kate Middleton with 21% of the votes and in third place was actress Emma Watson with 16% of the vote. Surprise entry Lydia Bright took 11% of the vote and in fifth place, with eight per cent of the vote, was Fearne Cotton who braved one of 2014's hottest looks this year, the lob. One woman who took part in the survey said: "For me, Cheryl never puts a foot wrong when it comes to her hair. It always looks flawless when she appears on X Factor.

"Whenever I’m going out for a big night, I always ask my stylist to just do it however Cheryl’s wearing it, as I know it will always be bang on trend." A spokesperson for Hairtrade.com said: "We were not surprised that Cheryl’s style is the most requested at the salon– she’s definitely made a statement on her X Factor return. We think it’s great that celebrities sporting more daring styles like Fearne Cotton’s and Frankie Sandford’s are being asked for at the hairdressers as well."
