Cher goes red for burlesque premiere

Singer, actress, and all-round amazing style icon, Cher, was in London last night to promote her latest film, Burlesque.
The diva wore a Julien Macdonald dress - also worn by Cheryl Cole earlier this year - but it was her bright red hair that really got everyone talking.
The auburn wig was styled in tumbling curls, with a short, choppy fringe. Worn with copper-coloured eye make-up and heavily bronzed cheeks, Cher's entire look was slightly orange - but somehow it works.
Fellow Burlesque star Christina Aguilera was also at the premiere, but I think she was totally upstaged by her older co-star. I'm not a fan of her long blonde extensions, which feel a bit tacky and dated.
I much prefer Christina's retro updos, which would also have been more in keeping with the film's vintage feel.
