Charlotte mensah of hair lounge enjoys three wins in one week

Charlotte Mensah is celebrating after winning three major afro hair awards in just one week.
The owner of Portobello Road's Hair Lounge started her week of wins by scooping Afro Hairdresser of the Year at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards.
Following swiftly on from this accolade, Charlotte then scooped two further titles for her creativity and styling skills at the Black Beauty/Sensationnel Awards - Weave Stylist of the Year and Styling Team of the Year.
She commented:
Wow! To win one award is fantastic, but to win three has left me speechless! It's such a great feeling to have picked up these prestigious titles and I'm so honoured to be championing Afro hair at the moment. I started hairdressing 28 years ago, so it's fantastic to know that all of the years I've put into the industry have finally paid off. Winning these accolades just goes to show that if you work hard, you will be rewarded.
