Eight weeks into 2012 and how many of us can say we have kept to the New Year Resolutions that we set? Keeping fit and going to the gym are firm favourites on the resolution list but whilst the will may be there, finding the time is more of an issue for many. However, if you commit to joining friends and peers on an overseas bike ride in aid of charity, then finding the time to get fit (or stay fit) becomes an absolute necessity and with two to choose from, you are spoilt for choice.
The May Bank Holiday weekend (4 - 7 May) sees John Frieda take his HAIRraising appeal to Ibiza for a Round the Island cycle challenge where two different routes are available dependent upon fitness and cycling ability. Whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery and the camaraderie of the team, you can raise money for two new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital. This two day ride will finish with a party at the infamous Pacha club for those with the stamina - call 020 7239 3164 or click on the link above for more information.
Stunning Cape Cod is the location for the HABB Cycle Challenge which leaves London on the 29th September and returns on the 5th October, once riders have completed a route that takes in the Cape Cod Canal and Martha's Vineyard. Offering your support to HABB will ensure it can keep supporting those in the industry who need it most - for further information 01737 212494.
Happy cycling!
