Long, loose waves are always a hit for summer months and adding a polished, glossy sheen helps this style transfer effortlessly from the beach to the red carpet.
At last night's CFDA Awards Whitney Port, Alessandra Ambrosio and Liv Tyler all opted for the super-shiny style, giving a relaxed twist to their red carpet outfits.
Whitney's tumbling blonde curls are the most defined, but raked over to one side with a side parting, still feel cool and effortlessly styled.
Supermodel Alessandra has more of a 1970s feel to her S-shaped waves, parted in the centre and styled away from the face.
Finally Liv Tyler proves her retro rock chick roots with a style that channels this season's must-have luxe hippy vibe. Long, loose and slightly unfinished, the look is effortlessly cool.
