Glossy, groomed glamour was the order of the day at last night's swanky CFDA Fashion Awards in New York. The event marks outstanding achievement in the field of fashion and the A-list guests certainly dressed to impress.

The usually low-key Alexa Chung opted for glistening curls, so glossy they almost rivalled her sequinned frock! Meanwhile actress Jessica Biel, normally known for her laid back all-American-girl look, also opted for a polished finish, combining sexy volume with a mirror like shine.
