HJ's British Hairdresser of the year Mark Leeson shares his top celeb haircut trends for Spring 2015. The new vision of glamour is shorter. Over-long hair looks instantly dated and celebrities everywhere are opting for shorter length. This gives instant health and vitality to hair with a bluntness and bulk adding to the overall styling. Any version of the bob is so on trend now. This classic style embraces all the modern versions for a fresh silhouette. This is a style that can be cut to frame any face shape and can be worn smooth, textured or waved. The mid-layer is a key look as seen on the Chanel runway. Worn below the shoulders with a soft internal layer, this style creates a soft-to-the-touch texture. Using the cheekbones as a guide, the perimeter outline is cut to produce an external frame of movement. Blunt cut in the baseline of the hair retains a thickness resulting in volume. Short hair is a daring and confident statement look this season. Slightly androgynous, a short style gives immense versatility which can be ultra femme for 2015. Sliced, disconnected and tapered are all techniques used to create a fresh, unique shape. Longer lengths on top instantly change the shape and make for more options, gelled back off the face, swept across the eyes or textured with product. Short hair is limitless in the way you wear it.
