London Fashion Week favourite, Christopher Kane, is teaming up with Catwalk by TIGI this Autumn/Winter to offer a stylish gift-with-purchase.
Inspired by his most recent collection, TIGI salons will be able to offer their guests a sleek black leather knotted headband - perfect for adding a finishing touch to on-trend ponytails and updos for the winter season.
No strangers to each other's work, TIGI and Christopher Kane have worked together in the past on catwalk shows as well as on lookbooks.
Christopher said: "I used accents of black leather in my A/W12 collection and so wanted to create a hairband for TIGI that had the same attitude. A double strand in soft mock leather adds toughness and strictness and keeps the hair controlled and modern at the same time."
Further cementing their ethos of 'hair leads the fashion', the collaboration is the latest in a long line of catwalk pairings for TIGI.
Creative director Nick Irwin said: "We believe hair and fashion are intrinsically linked. It's important that we translate the ideas we create backstage at catwalk shows into looks that girls can wear in their everyday lives and do themselves."
Explaining how salons can promote their accessory in-salon with beautiful imagery and styling ideas, Nick said: "I love this hairband as it has a multitude of uses and really channels Christopher's collection. Place the band around the head and simply tie hair back into a loose knot or for a softer look, weave tendrils of hair through the band - this is one way to instantly update your look for the coming season and beyond"
Launching in-salon in September, salons will be able to offer the hair band as a gift with purchase of any two Catwalk by TIGI products.
