Carey mulligan shows short hair can be versatile

There's more to short hair than a quick blast with the dryer and run through with wax -  just ask Carey Mulligan. The Hollywood starlet's elfin crop was copied by thousands and while it's in its growing-out phase she proves that short hair can be versatile, stepping out on the red carpet with a variety of looks over the past few weeks.

It's been reported that her hair is in really bad condition from the constant use of bleach, but judging by these photos she's embracing texture and change and opting for a different look every time she steps out onto the red carpet.
