Cara Delevingne has been confirmed as the campaign girl for Topshop's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection, with a super-cool shoot full of it-girl attitude.
Proving why she's the perfect model to take on
Kate Moss as Topshop's queen of London cool, Cara personifies Brit style with tousled bedhead locks, skinny jeans and, uh, a bunny.
This is the first time that Topshop has had a single model front a campaign - other than Kate and her collections.
Topshop owner Philip Green says: "At such an ambitious and exciting time for our many thousands of staff and loyal customers, it is fitting to have a fabulous, young British star such as Cara at the epicentre of our campaign. I am hopeful and confident that this will be the beginning of another strong relationship for Topshop."
We caught up with Anthony Turner behind the scenes at the
Topshop Autumn/Winter 2014 show, where he revealed how to get the look for the season - which is pretty similar to Cara's look in the shoot:
1. Prep hair with L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.Art Pli and style in a centre parting.
2. Blow-dry the hair smoothly, ensuring it isn’t flat and maintains an airy, light texture.
3. Even up the length of any models with layers to create an ‘innocent’ one-length, square shape.
4. Once hair is dry and smooth, add Mythic Oil throughout the lengths to give hair a quality finish.
5. Just before models walk out on the catwalk, tweak a a section at the crown by rubbing with the palm. Anthony explained this as a girl that had been up to no good – she’d brushed her hair out after, but missed a bit.
