Cheryl Cole shocked and divided style-watchers last week with an enormous bouffant, so it was good to see her back to her usual stylish self in Cannes this weekend.

A daring dress slashed to the naval was complemented by a super slick ponytail, paired with a deep side parting and sweeping fringe.

Cheryl's ponytail protruded out from the back of her head at a 45 degree angle, with the base thickly wrapped with hair to disguise the band and create a bit of interest from the back.
