Camilla Jonsson, current Swedish Hairdresser of the Year, recently helped raise €10,000 for The Perfect World Foundation by selling pictures of her hair work.
The multi-award-winning stylist created a triptych of images, inspired by three of Africa's most endangered animals; the black rhino, the Sahara addax and and the African wild dog.
These three pieces of art were auditioned as part of The Perfect World Foundation’s fundraising gala dinner in Gothenburg, Sweden. Attended by more than 500 people, including the Crown Princess of Sweden, the event raised more than €200,000 for charity.
For the Gala dinner, Camilla and a team of 11 hand-picked hairdressers also styled guests exclusively using and selling animal-friendly products by KEVIN.MURPHY. Combining donations from the styling services with all the donations from the art pieces, Camilla generated over €10,000 on the night.
