Byron hairdressing breaks fundraising record

Byron Hairdressing in Kirkcaldy, Fife broke its own fundraising record recently, raising nearly £2,200 for Maggie's Centre - a local charity which provides support for people living with cancer.

The team offered haircuts and neck and shoulder massages in return for donations. While local business provided prizes for a charity raffle.

"The local support has been overwhelming," said salon owner Ronnie Marshall. "I'd like to thank everyone who came along. I'd also like to thanks to all my team who were incredible, giving up their Sunday and making it such a fun day."
