pic 1 hob.JPGAll 20 HOB salon branches recently raised a total of £20,000 for Cancer Research UK with salon teams from London to Leeds accessorising branches in pink, wearing pink clothing and holding bake sales.

HOB's flagship salon in Camden Town held a wig off with staff wearing pink wigs for the day, styled by themselves, with clients asked to vote for the best and make donations; salons on Radlett and Loughton auctioned signed football shirts; while Frances Harvey, senior stylist at HOB Salons in Elstree went from blonde to pink, adding £1,000 in donation to the salon's charitable pot.

HOB Salons' director Clive Collins said: "We are very proud of the efforts all of the salons have made. The amount raised is testament to the commitment of our salon teams and we will continue to support the Breast Cancer Care Association whenever possible."
