Sassoon UK creative director, Bruce Masefield, presented an inspiring and educational seminar for the Fellowship of British Hairdressing.

Held to celebrate his appointment as Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year at the end of 2011, the evening saw Bruce talk trends, travelling the globe and his creative input into creating the Sassoon Collections - as well as how his year mentoring the FAME Team is going.

Hosted by Sassoon international creative director, Mark Hayes, there was plenty of good-natured humour with Bruce revealing that if Jim'll Fix It was still running, he'd ask for lunch with Lance Armstrong.

The intimate seminar also saw Bruce present a series of stunning models including looks from the new Sassoon Academy collection, Elegiac and a five-point cut in tribute to the late, great Vidal Sassoon.

With over 30 years experience at Sassoon, Bruce's presentation played with Sasson house codes of pure geometry, providing fresh inspiration and a new perspective on the proprietary methods that have kept him inspired throughout his career.
