Both hairdressers shared their techniques with the crowd in a one-hour show which consisted of four demonstrations and two presentations. Mark's six models showcased his work sculptural forms and dramatic shapes, while Tim bought his distinctive work in precision cutting to the stage in a series of looks that included face-framing fringes, head-hugging crops and a celebration of the natural texture and movement in hair.

The finale saw all 12 models join the audience, providing them with the opportunity to take their own photographs and get a closer look at each style.

2012 marks the fourth year in which artists from independent hairdressing company, the Five Point Alliance, have appeared on the main stage at the show.

Martyn Wady, director of the Five Point Alliance said: "We were delighted to be invited back to Top Hair for the fourth time and so proud to present Tim Hartley and Mark Leeson to the European professionals attending. It's a real privilege and the audience always responds so positively."
