What's your biggest achievement?



Personally: The amount of charity/fundraising I undertake. I do a lot of work for charities outside of the industry.

Receiving my MBE was a huge achievement and something I am very proud of. Also being Cosmopolitan Man of the Year was a big accolade for me.

Professionally: Winning the Fellowship for British Hairdressing's Hairdresser of the Year and receiving 15 nominations for HJ's British Hairdresser of the Year, no one has ever achieved anything close to that.



Tell us three things no one knows about you.

• I was a governor at my children's school where I set rules, sat on committees and looked at cases of expulsion. 
• One of my friends works at a hospice and I regularly go in and chat to the patients and do their hair. Most just want a friend and someone to talk to.
• I am an avid collector of rare crystal and silver; the older the better.
