Bridal hair: crowning glory

Catwalk by TIGI has created four chic bridal style solutions in honour of the royal wedding. Crowning Glory is 'tiara' hair: an updo with attitude, a right royal style, inspired by Christopher Kane's S/S 11 show with its totally on trend theme of 'young royals'. Key to the look is the dual texture: polished at the crown, and loose and wavy through the lengths.

Step OneStep Two
Step One: After using Catwalk Your Highness Elevating Shampoo and Nourishing Conditioner, apply a generous amount of Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost from roots to ends.

Step Two: Blowdry the hair back, away from the face.

Step ThreeStep Four
Step Three: Take a horse-shoe section at the top of the head.

Step Four: Blowdry the top section with a medium round brush to create volume.

Step FiveStep Six
Step Five: Backbrush the top area slightly to add volume and texture.

Step Six: Spray Catwalk Your Highness Firm Hold Hairspray on the sides, directly into the hair, and brush it for a flatter and wetter effect.

Step SevenStep Eight
Step Seven: Use the Firm Hold Hairspray for the top area as well, spraying it on the brush before gently brushing the hair back from the face for a drier and higher finish.

Step Eight: Using a curling tong from the mid-lengths, wrap big sections of hair around, to increase the movement.

Step Nine
Step Nine: To finish the look and create more definition, spritz hair with Catwalk Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray.
