Bridal hair: how to create a punk princess quiff

Published 25th Apr 2011 by Admin

Catwalk by TIGI has created four chic bridal style solutions in honour of the royal wedding. The Punk Princess volumised quiff adds inches of height, balancing out the overall bridal silhouette, while lengths are folded into a neat chignon at the back. Remember aisle appeal: guests see the rear view of the bride for much of the ceremony.

Step OneStep Two
Step One: After using Catwalk Your Highness Elevating Shampoo and Nourishing Conditioner, blow dry the hair back away from the face.

Step Two: Take a big triangle section at the top of the head and secure it with a clip.

Step ThreeStep Four
Step Three: Brush the hair down, to the back of the nape.

Step Four: Twist it into a bun, securing it with pins and grips.

Step FiveStep Six
Step Five: Apply Catwalk Your Highness Thickening Gel Crème through the sides to slick the hair back, and let it dry naturally to create a much flatter and shiny effect.

Step Six: Use the Thickening Gel Crème for the top area, applying it through the roots, then blow dry the product in to add volume.

Step SevenStep Eight
Step Seven: Add a little backcombing through the root area, then brush that back gently.

Step Eight: Fix the hair into the bun and secure with pins and grips.

Step Nine
Step Nine: To add more hold, spritz hair with Catwalk Your Highness Firm Hold Hairspray.
