Brandy's rock chick texture

At last night's VH1 Hip Hop Honors in New York, Brandy Norwood - of Brandy and Monica fame! - revealed a funky, textured new look, totally different to her usual super sleek lengths. 

Contrasting perfectly against her super girly outfit, the choppy fringe and effortlessly textured lengths create a cool, rock chick finish, enhanced further by dramatic black eye makeup. The kinky curls are deliberately uneven, with sections of varying widths styled in opposite directions for a less pristine look.

This funky style makes a real change for the usually uber-groomed r 'n' b star and definitely makes her stand out on the red carpet amongst a sea of super long, super straight extensions!
