Braids two ways with selena gomez

Selena Gomez wore braids two ways for her recent appearance on the David Letterman show, further cementing her status as budding fashionista and firmly burying that Disney child-star status. Arriving at the studio, Selena opted for a very nineties high ponytail (complete with scrunchie) styled in a fishtail braid. The perfect match for her Versace roll-neck crop top, this look is a total blast from the past for me - although probably not for Gomez, who at 21 probably has no bad scrunchie memories. Leaving the studio, Selena opted for a totally new braid, this time styled in what looks like a four-strand knotted style - not dissimilar to the look created by TONI&GUY at the Giles Spring/Summer 2014 show. Despite the scrunchie memories, I love the I Dream of Jeannie vibes I get from Selena's first look and the overall styling of the 'do so that wins for me.
