Bouffants, Beehives and Bobs: The Hairstyles That Shaped Britain is a new BBC documentary, which set to be a masterclass in the history of hair and its place in society.

Wednesday 13 November at
9pm on
BBC4, the documentary will look at some of the most iconic men's and women's hairstyles of the last 60 years.
From the coiffed creations of Mr Teasy Weasy to the geometric craftsmanship of Vidal Sassoon, the hour-long show takes an affectionate trip down memory lane - from the great and the good to the the bad hair days that many would rather forget (poodle perm, anyone?).
