Bouclème, specialists in curly hair care, hosted an educational curl masterclass and training event on Monday 15 January. The day event, which was held at beauty co-working space Hunter Collective, was attended by salons and hairstylists from across the UK and EU, attracting professionals from as far as Switzerland and Norway, as they showcased the brand’s commitment to curl education and awareness.
The day started with two interactive demonstrations by Bouclème’s curl specialists, Abena Pilsbury and Laura Murphy. Using Bouclème products, Abena shared knowledge into washing and styling tight coils, while Laura demonstrated techniques for achieving soft and defined waves, revealing hair transformations from frizzy to effortless beautiful curls.
Following the masterclass, Bouclème’s Founder, Michele Scott-Lynch hosted an engaging Q&A and business advice session. The session was designed to provide an exclusive opportunity for stylists to learn more about the Bouclème range, expand their curl knowledge, and connect with industry peers.
The event not only served as a platform for education but also facilitated networking amongst salons and stylists.
“We are thrilled to have hosted such a successful curl training event, bringing together professionals for the UK and the EU to share knowledge and celebrate the beauty of curls,” commented Michele. “Our commitment to curl education is at the heart of our brand, and events like these play a key role in empowering salons and stylists to better serve their curly-haired client.”
