Bha judging begins

Some of the biggest stars from the hairdressing world gathered today for the first round of judging for this year’s British Hairdressing Awards. Luminaries from the industry including Trevor Sorbie, Robert Lobetta and Eugene Souleiman were among the 40+ judges invited to cast their expert eyes over the entries. While the shortlist is top secret – even the team at HJ have no idea yet which entries have been picked to progress to the next stage – we were able to glean a bit of insider information. The quality – and quantity – of entries was highly praised, with many judges singling out the London, Avant Garde and Colour categories as their favourites. And the judges were thrilled to see such a raft of talent in the Newcomer section, proving that the future of the industry looks brilliantly bright.
