Talentspotting semi-finalists announced

The semi-finalists for the L'Oréal Professional Talentspotting regional events have been announced.Judges Adam Reed from Charles Worthington, Darren Fowler from Clipso, British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Errol Douglas and Gill Pope, Technical Manager for L'Oréal Professionnel, cast their eye over an unprecedented amount of moodboards. After much deliberation, they choose their favourite 24 moodboards to be brought to life by their creators in a live stage presentation at the semi-finals.

Reed, who also mentors the competitors, said: “It is so exciting to see so much talent being displayed. There was is an incredible amount of energy among these entries and I can’t wait to see them come to life at the live semi-final heats.” Fellow judge Fowler added: "It is so important to encourage the youth of the hairdressing to come forward and show the industry how talented they are. Talentspotting is the perfect platform to propel them into the limelight and start their career with a bang." The 24 semi-finalists will now go on to compete at the live semi-finals to battle it out on stage in a bid to be crowned Talentspotting winner of their region.
