Red carpet season is in full swing come March, meaning plenty of actresses, models and stylish folk out and about in LA and around and plenty of exciting hairstyles to enjoy. And with the A-list being more daring than ever with their choices of colour, styling and finish, there's no shortage of inspiration coming from the red carpets.
Here we round up our favourite looks from March 2012...

Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer enjoyed a fairly successful career as a Hollywood actress prior to 2012, starring in X-Men, Winter's Bone and The Burning Plain, but it was this year's adaptation of The Hunger Games that shot her into the stratosphere.
Currently the highest-grossing heroine in action-film history, Jennifer combines red-carpet glamour with a cool edgy twist.
Recently named as the new face of Miss Dior, we can expect to see plenty more of Jennifer flexing her fashion credentials throughout the new year.
Look to love: Appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman, Jennifer showed off her tonal blonde style with a half-up 'do and chunky, parted, on-trend fringe.

Lindsay Lohan
She may have been heading to court, but Lindsay Lohan fans across the globe gave a sigh of relief when they spotted the actress with her natural red hair in March 2012.
Blessed with a beautiful natural red shade, LiLo fans have struggled to get on board with her blonde, brunette and pink transformations over recent years.
Looking healthy and happy, let's hope that going back to red is part of Lindsay's recovery from her recent troubles.
Look to love: Heading for a pre-court trip to the shops in Los Angeles, Lindsay looked back to her best with long, red, centre-parted lengths.

Kelly Osbourne
Kelly has always been a colour chameleon, but this March saw her opt for one of her bravest colour choices - a purple rinse.
And unlike most of Kelly's colour choices, which have only lasted a couple of washes, lilac seems to have suited the starlet as she's stuck with it for most of the year.
Although it's gone darker and lighter according to the seasons, purple seems to suit Kelly best of all and it's a shade that's surprisingly flattering on her too.
Usually styled in vintage curls, beehives or retro sets, Kelly makes glamorous granny chic look entirely fresh and enormously flattering.
Look to love: Kelly unveiled her lilac shade at the E! Upfront event in March - and it was love at first sight!
