Barber uk collaborates with the lions barber collective Barber UK is collaborating with The Lions Barber Collective for their 2020 show, which will take place on the third and fourth of May at the NEC, Birmingham. The event will help raise money for the charity with the launch of its new feature area, the Tattoo Zone. All attendees are invited to visit the area, where they will receive a barber themed tattoo during the show. A percentage of the money raised will be donated to The Lion Barber Collective. The Lions Barber Collective is a group of passionate individuals raising awareness for men’s mental health and training barbers to recognise signs of anxiety and depression within their clients. This means they are able to offer their clients support and signpost them to the help they may need. Gary Hackett, show director of Barber UK said: “We are thrilled to announce our charity partnership with The Lions Barber Collective. The Tattoo Zone is set to be an exciting addition to the event in 2020 and we look forward to seeing the designs our visitors opt for as they raise funds for this worthwhile cause.” Tom Chapman, founder and CEO of The Lions Barber Collective added: “To be asked to attend Barber UK and have our own stand is amazing, the reach that is available over the course of the event is an amazing opportunity. Then to be asked to be the charity partner for the event is just next level! It is a fantastic opportunity to raise funds to enable us to survive and continue our work. Then on top of that, the awareness we can raise in the industry alongside Barber UK will no doubt help many and enable us to save more lives! We can’t wait to be there!”
