Bailey shares an exclusive day in the life for him - not only attending, but participating in stage performances and reflecting on the experiences he had over the course of the action-packed weekend.
Performing and Demonstrating on the Modern Barber Stage
From the minute Bailey arrived, it was straight to work. “The weekend started off early as I was getting my hair cut by Dean Gleeson, performing on the Modern Barber stage. I got my hair prepped backstage and after modelling, I got the chance to walk around and scope out what brands had stalls, and bumping into lots of equally excited stylists and barbers,” said Bailey.
After scoping out what the brands had to offer, Bailey watched a few shows and demos before it was his time on stage. One of his favourite demonstrations was Luchmun Studios with Kevin Luchmun, sharing his cutting expertise.
“It was incredible to listen to such an established men’s hairdresser, and I found it highly motivational” added Bailey. Another demonstration that Bailey enjoyed was the “Make the Switch” show by Wahl with the Cal Newsome team, demoing the Vapour Switch Cordless Clipper. Bailey mentioned that it was great to see the product in action by a strong team of talented barbers.
What Did Bailey Snowden Showcase at Salon International 2026?
On stage, Bailey demonstrated a textured burst fade while educating the audience and sharing his expertise on how to work with the client’s natural hair pattern. “I had the most amazing time, sharing my knowledge and I even had some of the Snowden Hair team in the audience supporting me,” he said.
The first day wrapped up with a dinner in London with the Wahl scholar’s, partners and staff. “Overall, I had an incredible first experience at Salon International getting the chance to take part in stage performances, while also learning from some amazing hair industry icons, all under the one roof,” concluded Bailey.
