Baftas 2014: best-tressed guests on the red carpet

The BAFTAs 2014 not only rewarded the best of Hollywood talent, it also served to remind us that style isn't restricted to the catwalks this London Fashion Week.
On the red carpet, Hollywood's finest showcased their award-season style with crowning glories to rival even the most memorable of gowns - and with volume apparently the biggest trend for the evening (literally) there were plenty of memorable best-tressed moments.
Although some of the nominees that we rely on for winning red carpet hair were sadly absent (yes we mean you, Jennifer Lawrence), there were plenty of leading ladies in attendance that did inspire. Amy Adams changed things up once again with a strict side parting and elegant bun, Oprah Winfrey celebrated volume with jumbo curls and Lupita Nyong'o nodded to the 80s with her side-parted and dressed out style.
OK, so there were no Helen Mirren colour change shockers (remember that pink hair from last year?), but it was still a golden night for style.
