Babyliss pro announce salon international 2016 lineup

BaByliss PRO are proud to announce an inspiring line-up of stylists for Salon International between Saturday 15th and Monday 17th October 2016.
The BaByliss PRO stage at Salon International has always been a platform for the most inspirational talent, from the world’s most esteemed session stylists to the up and coming hairdressers of the future, and this year’s lineup is no exception.
For the first time ever, in addition to the main styling stage, BaByliss PRO will be presenting a designated men’s stage with barbers from around the country showcasing the latest grooming techniques. The BaByliss PRO stage will also be hosting a world exclusive book signing with industry legend Sam McKnight to celebrate the upcoming release of his hair career anthology Hair by Sam McKnight. This will be the first opportunity for fans to get a copy of the book before its general release on Monday 24th October.
Main Stage
Richard Phillipart
Richard Phillipart is a world class hairdresser, educator, session stylist, award winner (Creative Head’s IT Guy 2014) and salon owner. Richard will be showcasing looks from the latest BaByliss PRO collection, drawn from his experience backstage at fashion shows in London, New York, Paris and Milan. Richard will also be presenting BaByliss PRO’s first ever Masterclass at Salon Live on Monday.
Sam McKnight (Book Signing)
Sam McKnight is one of the most accomplished and well-respected stylists of his generation. His name has become synonymous with some of the most iconic images of modern culture. Almost 40 years of his work has been encapsulated into a one-off anthology, Hair by Sam McKnight, which will be available to purchase for the first time anywhere in the world at the BaByliss PRO stage. Sam will be signing books between 2:10-3:10pm on Sunday 16th October.
Patrick Cameron
For years, Patrick Cameron has unveiled to the world his latest collection live at Salon International. As one of the most in demand hairdressers of our time, Patrick is regarded by his peers as the long hair expert. Armed with BaByliss PRO tools, Patrick will be showing his tips and tricks to dispel the myth that long hair dressing is complicated. 
Darren Webster
Award-winning session stylist and co-founder of London’s Webster Whiteman salon, Darren Webster has decades of experience in all things hair, from backstage at fashion weeks to TV shows, editorial shoots and industry events. Darren was a third time finalist in the men’s category at the British Hairdressing Awards 2015 and will be demonstrating his barbering and styling skills on stage.
Ky Wilson
As It List’s ‘The Entrepreneur’ winner in 2016 and finalist in 2015; Award for Innovation finalist 2014 and It Guy finalist three years in a row, Ky Wilson is recognised throughout the industry as a stylist going places. Ky is the owner of The Social - a new hand built work warehouse salon in East London, and the salon’s counterpart in the Lake District.
Sam Burnett
Sam is an award-winning hair stylist and owner/founder of Fitzrovia’s Hare & Bone. His creativity and innovative designs have inspired international campaigns and brands globally. Whilst Sam’s work has attracted numerous international and high profile clients, it is his roots in South London and the capital’s vibrant street culture that inspire his visions.
Liam Paul
Liam Paul has been hairdressing for the last ten years. During this time he’s been part of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing ClubStar artistic and Colour Project Teams. Liam will be creating conflicting shapes within beautiful hair.
Matthew Sutcliffe
Matt Sutcliffe is a session stylist and former Fellowship for British Hairdressing FAME team member who is quickly becoming a one-to-watch within the hairdressing industry. Matt will be sharing his backstage experience, taking inspiration from the brands he works with at fashion weeks.
Gareth McAughey
During his 11 year hairdressing career, Gareth has been a regional finalist for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy and a finalist in the Christopher Mann Step Up and Shine scholarship programme. He is currently working as part of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Colour Project Team and Head of Education at Becky Candy salons.
Shruty Stephenson
Salon owner and session stylist Shruty Stephenson has travelled the country learning from the industry’s best on a scholarship with the L’Oreal Professional ID Artist team. Since then, she has worked on training other stylists and salon owners, as well as working backstage at London and Paris Fashion Weeks, and styling celebrities for the red carpet. 

Sarah Linley
Sarah Linley is fast becoming one of the most exciting new names in the hairdressing industry. She has made a name for herself with the Fellowship for British Hairdressing as part of the ClubStar artistic team and as a finalist for the 2017 FAME team. Sarah is no stranger to working behind the scenes on shoots, at fashion week, or presenting on stage.
Grooming Stage
Darren Webster
In recent years, Darren has focused on men’s hairdressing as part of the peer group spearheading the current male hair movement. Darren was a third time finalist in the men’s category at the British Hairdressing Awards 2015 and will be demonstrating his barbering skills live on stage.
Ky Wilson
When Ky Wilson isn’t busy on shoots, at weddings or in the salon creating beautiful women’s hair, he’s working with a demanding clientele of gents. Ky was recently nominated for the Most Wanted Grooming Expert of the Year and has been working with some of the biggest international names in men’s grooming.
Alan and Reece
Beak Two brothers from Manchester, owners and founders of RUGER, a thriving brand with bold ambition and huge aspiration. The pair’s work is known around the world through their unique and original style, conducting workshops, seminars and stage shows from up and down the UK to Europe and the US. These boys are fun and educational.
Liam Campbell
After giving other soldiers crew cuts in the British Army, Liam Campbell has plied his trade in Birmingham, Australia and India, and is now Head Barber for Nomad Barber at the world renowned East London Barbershop. Liam will be bringing these sought after skills to the BaByliss PRO grooming stage.
Ryan Bartlett
Ryan is renowned for his expertise in male grooming and has often been at the forefront of the industry. Twice a finalist in two prestigious national events, Barber of the Year and Master Barber of the Year 2016, Ryan continuously strives to express his skills and knowledge. None more so than being recognised for his ability to effortlessly combine hairdressing and barbering techniques.
