B hive new jersey named davines eco salon of the year

B Hive New Jersey has been named Davines Eco Salon of the Year, having become completely zero impact and sustaining exemplary environmentally-sound standards. The Eco Salon contest sees entries submitted from across the globe, with teams encouraged to share how they embody the Davines philosophy of sustainable beauty. Winners were announced on the final day of the Davines World Wide Hair Tour, which was held in London for the first time this year. The B Hive team accepted their award live on stage, revealing that their design and ethos were firmly inspired by their salon mantra: "Be humble, be thoughtful, be creative and be truthful to yourself." Their salon doesn't just rely on organic products, but also harnesses the power of wind energy, LED lighting and even natural paint. Everything is recycled where possible, and reclaimed materials are used in décor - including styling chairs covered in certified EcoTek fabric and reused barn wood for desks and retail. Also honoured in the Eco Salon contest was Claque la Mouche in Stockholm, Sweden, which won the Design category of the Eco Salon contest.
