Anna paquin goes purple with aura friedman

Anna Paquin is the latest celeb to switch her natural colour for something more statement; a purple and blue mermaid 'do by renowned colourist Aura Friedman. Aura, who works at Sally Hershberger Salon in New York, is queen of creative colour and has previously transformed the likes of Soo Joo Park, Sky Ferreira, and Lady Gaga. Following the transformation, Aura tweeted:

"Anna just wrapped True Blood and told me that she'd been wanting to colour her hair purple and blue since she was 13," Aura told Allure magazine. "She'd wanted that colour for years! Luckily, colourist Tracey Cunningham [had] already made her blonde, which makes adding colours like this so much easier. I used four colours — two kinds of blue and two kinds of purple — mixing and diluting the Manic Panic until we got the right shade." Anna is the latest in a long line of celebs who've gone purple including Kelly Osbourne and Nicole Richie.
